Mission Statement
The studying of the scriptures is fundamental in the Christian faith. The apostle Paul states that ‘all scripture is given by inspiration of God; it is God-breathed and inspired’ (2 Timothy 3:16). The scriptures were written by men and yet inspired by God. He is the definitive author and His Word infallible, inerrant, living, and eternal; thus, it is timeless in its application.
The Bible serves as a guide to man by providing instruction and wisdom for everyday living. The scriptures reveal the divine attributes of God and the nature of man; “for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). The Word reveals our need for Jesus Christ and proclaims the message of salvation- the most vital message to humanity.
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
